Make Your Future
Bean Path's Makerspace Summer Camp (Grades 9-12)
June 5 – June 30 | 1pm - 4:00pm CT
Are you interested in Fashion, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Robots, or Design? Do you want to meet experts and professionals in the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) world? Do you want to put ideas you've learned into action?
If you said yes to any of the above, you want to sign up for our Makerspace Summer Program!

Geared toward high school students, our programs give students the opportunity to be exposed and immersed in STEAM through project-based exploration and learning while working with industry professionals.

Registration is free for Jackson Public Schools high schoolers and $100 for non-JPS students.

JPS will provide transportation to the Makerspace for students enrolled at Murrah, Lanier, Callaway, Forest Hill, and Wingfield High School. Caregivers must transport students home.

Wired In: Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
Create robots and drones while collaboratively working across STEAM disciplines. Students will finish the class with a robot race and demo.

Cut the Edge: Fashion & Tech
Create clothes and present them in a cutting-edge way, challenging traditions through technology. Students will conclude the course with a
fashion show.

Make the Future: Interior Design & Architecture
Enhance, curate and develop a space using technology to improve upon standard design practices. The result is input in our 6,500 sqft Makerspace, part of the future Jackson Tech District.
