About the event
Join us for Bean Path's upcoming sewing lab focused on making aprons. Our sewing lab runs year-round and is led by two experienced instructors who provide the guidance and support you need to enhance your sewing skills.
During the sewing lab sessions, our instructors meet you at your skill level, whether you're working on your own projects, learning the topic of the week, or gaining confidence with your sewing machine. Whether you're interested in basic clothing alterations like hemming and adjustments, upcycling thrifted items into trendy pieces, or diving into dressmaking, this class is tailored to your interests.
Each session includes instruction on a topic chosen by the group, followed by dedicated project time. We recommend signing up for the month to fully immerse yourself in the sewing lab community and see your projects through to completion. However, if you have a quick fix or need advice, drop-ins are welcome too.
This class is open to adults, and children aged 13 and older are welcome with a participating guardian.
Participants should bring their sewing machine if they have one. If not, please contact us to reserve one. Feel free to bring your fabric, although it's not necessary as we have plenty available. If you're seeking assistance with a personal project, bring it along, and our experts will be happy to assist you.
